Want a flying Iron Man suit but can’t afford the maintenance costs of an Arc Reactor and Suit? Are you a lover of all things Japanese?
Then I have just the deal for you, once you have money on your Scotia VISA Debit Card. Introducing the Iron Man Mark II, the only known Iron Man suit that actually flies (Liszewski, 2014), and is not a CosPlay gone bad.
It’s actually called the Egg Attack Iron Man 3 Mark II Magnetic Floating Version and is available on Hobby Link Japan’s website (Hobby Link Japan, 2015). It’s really a metallic Silver Iron Man that’s 16 cm long suspended in mid-air by an 11 cm base that’s an electromagnet powered by eight (8) AA batteries.
At US$180, it’s kinda on the expensive side for a desktop toy. But at least its eyes, chest reactor and feet glow like the Iron Man Mark II thanks to High-luminance LED light embedded inside of the Iron Man figure. Very much like the real thing in Iron Man 3!
Plus, it’s well within the budget of any true fan of the Iron Man franchise. Still, if you buy this you can modify it by soldering in an old Cell phone Charger to reduce the constant need to buy new replacement Batteries should Egg Attack Iron Man 3 Mark II Magnetic Floating Version start falling back to Earth!
