Cadbury rebrands Cadbury Dairy Milk Oat Crunch with Musical Spoons Ad

Dear readers, are you in love with Cadbury Chocolate Creme Egg over the Summer? Did you like my recipe (Deer, 2015, April 4) for making your own Glow-in-the-Dark Cadbury Chocolate Creme Egg?

Then feast your eyes on Cadbury’s latest creation, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oat Crunch (Talking Retail, 2015, April 16), for which Cadbury is doing a £4.5 million pounds (Mortimer, 2015) advertising campaign. So says this tweet from Cadbury UK Twitter Feed.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Oat Crunch product (Bamford, 2015), which originally launched in February 2015 by Cadbury (Talking Retail, 2015, February 4), is being rebranded as a 11am snack that’s fun to eat.

The advert features two (2) cafeteria ladies preparing office lunch for office workers only to break out spontaneously  playing 2 Unlimited “Get Ready for this”, a hit on the UK charts back in 1991, using spoons.

It’s worth watching, really!

Created by Fallon London and launched on the evening of Thursday April 16th 2015, the thirty (30) second spot popped up during the break of ITV’s The Chase. £4.5 million pounds is some serious publicity that has Marketing agencies Golin, Fallon, PHD and Elvis supporting this new rebranding with outdoor, digital, experiential and PR advertising.


Look out for this product in Supermarkets in Jamaica eventually. I still didn’t get enough of their Cadbury Chocolate Creme Egg during the Easter break and this might be the perfect healthy substitute.
