How to locate missing Microsoft Windows drivers for Laptop or Desktop computer

Drivers missing from your computer?

Best check the following websites for missing drivers for common OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) support based on the Make and Model (Deer, 2014, January 21) of the Computer as a search term:

  1. ASUS Driver Support
  2. Dell Drivers and Downloads
  3. Gateway Drivers
  4. HP Drivers and Support
  5. Nvidia Drivers
  6. Samsung Drivers
  7. Toshiba Drivers and Support
  8. Acer Drivers and Manual Support

For very hard to find Drivers, the following trusty resources are known to help based on my experience and in fact come highly recommended:

  3. Driver Zone
  4. DriverGuide
  5. Drivers
  6. Driver’s Kit
  7. Microsoft Hardware Driver’s Download Center
  8. Softpedia Drivers

  10. Techspot Drivers

Using Driver Updater tools – Mainly for the really lazy but not necessary

For very hard to find Drivers, the following trusty software (Fisher, 2017, June 17) are known to help based on my experience and in fact come highly recommended:

  4. Snappy Driver Installer
  5. SlimDrivers
  6. Driver Talent
  7. Device Doctor
  8. DriverMax
  9. DriversCloud
  10. DriverIdentifier
  11. Driver Easy

When you find the driver, you can then install them. When they are fully installed, the Device Manager section of your computer will show that everything is plugged in and nothing is plugged out!!!
